Upcoming Aston Martin Vanquish goes mid-engined

There are numerous reasons to make a sports car mid-engine. One of which is the better weight distribution that comes with putting the engine near the middle. And from this better weight distribution, the car corners a lot better. Additionally, hearing the engine roar behind you as you drive is a must for many sports car buyers.

Now, Aston Martin is taking ahold of this and is now implementing the engine position to their Vanquish. Currently, both the Valhalla and Valkyrie are also mid-engined, but their respective $1.26 million and $3.25 million price tags are a deal-breaker for many of those wanting to experience a mid-engined Aston. Fortunately, however, the new Vanquish is predicted to be priced around $300,000; quite a bargain.

Under the hood, you can expect a hybrid powertrain with a turbocharged V6 partnered with electric motors to give the car instant torque and a high top speed when it comes in 2023.
